Agrecalc Cloud migration update

Please read on for important information regarding the migration to Agrecalc Cloud and how you can request to be migrated earlier than planned.

We would like to thank all our customers and users for their commitment to using Agrecalc as a tool for their resource efficiency calculations, carbon accounting and audits. We’ve got more important information to share with you in this blog.

Your request to be migrated to Agrecalc Cloud - paid users

We have received your request to be upgraded to Agrecalc Cloud and we are delighted to be bringing you onto our new platform in the coming months.

 

We are reviewing the following in our prioritisation of the migration of the thousands of farms, reports and data points that are part of this; this review ensures we migrate your farm and its data efficiently: **

  1. if you have an individual paid licence through the Compare package;
  2. if you are part of an Organisation or group portal through the Connect package:
    • if you are a Consultant, you will be migrated with the Organisation or Consultancy with which you work; please speak to your Agrecalc contact for further discussion on what this entails;
    • if you are a farm with an Agrecalc account, licence, farm and data which are part of a Project Group, you will be migrated with that group and not on an individual basis;

3. if you are a farm in a government supported scheme but are not in a Project Group, as in second point above (e.g. FAS).

 

​** Please note, you will be invited to migrate on a specific date (with notice) or notified of the date of migration to Agrecalc Cloud based on the status of your account (as noted in 1. to 3. above).

For our free users

If you have a free, individual licence through the Calculate licence option, we will be inviting you to migrate in 2024. If you wish to upgrade to a paid licence through the Compare package ahead of this time, please click on “Upgrade to Full version here” at the top of the welcome page when you login to your account. Our team will get back to you with the upgrade options and support you in this process.

Currently in development and testing

Please note that the following functions are currently in development and testing on Agrecalc Cloud:

  • benchmarking for Consultant users
  • year on year and comparison reports
  • coefficients manager
  • monthly stock totals form

 

If you start using Agrecalc Cloud before these are available, you will temporarily lose access to these functions. If you would like to remove your request for migration at this time due to the above, please reply to this email to advise us of this.

 

If you wish to proceed with the migration, when invited, you will benefit from a number of improvements and enhancements to the platform! These include but are not limited to:

  • New crops and livestock feed options
  • Separate reports for multiple livestock herds
  • Nitrification and urease inhibitors for fertilisers
  • Methane inhibitors for cattle
  • Enhanced inputs for pig and poultry batches
