April Business Update: SRUC

After two years of operation as a Limited Company, Agrecalc became part of Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) as of 1 April 2025.

SRUC has always been a part of the Agrecalc journey.

From 2007, SRUC researchers and consultants developed the core of the platform we use today.

Since spin out from SRUC in 2023, SRUC has been the majority shareholder in Agrecalc. It is now taking this opportunity to build on the existing product offering with continued close links to scientific and academic research, and commercial and technical development creating more opportunities for Agrecalc to grow and thrive.

Same product. Same great service.

The product and services for individual farm license holders will be unchanged and the Agrecalc team will continue to provide the same great service.

In the coming weeks, contracts will be moved to SRUC contracts, and we will communicate with customers on any new terms of service.

The Agrecalc product will continue to operate as usual, and we will ensure that your data will be managed securely by our team in accordance with legislation and regulations.

Please continue to use the existing channels for any questions you may have, either directly to your Agrecalc contact or to [email protected] for non-technical queries, [email protected] for technical and platform support, or [email protected] for invoicing and other queries.
